What stays on your iPhone

Your lists, marks and mistakes are stored only on your iPhone. We cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes them.

Photos you choose to send

When you tap "New list from a photo" or "Check answers", the app sends that one photo over an encrypted connection to our server, which passes it to Anthropic's Claude AI to read the characters. The app asks for your agreement before the first photo is sent. Our server handles the photo in memory and does not store it. Anthropic processes it under its own terms and privacy policy (anthropic.com/legal/privacy).

Usage limits

The app creates a random identifier when it is installed. Our server uses it only to count each day's photo requests, so no one can run up unlimited use. It is not linked to your name, Apple ID or contacts, and the counts are cleared every day.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment details.

No ads, no tracking

The app has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking across apps or websites.

Children

The app is meant for parents. A child's handwriting appears only in photos that a parent chooses to send, for the purpose above.

Your rights

Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act you may ask us about the personal data we handle. We keep none on our server, but you can contact us at [email protected].
